One morning, around the beginning of December 2021, I was going to pick up an electric rental car I’d booked with the “Corrente” app. I was on an e-scooter heading for the car, parked in the acquedotto area. I needed the car to go to work. I was stopped by the state police on my e-scooter in Vittorio Veneto street. They asked to see my ID and then asked me why I was there and where I was going. I told them I was going to pick up a car to go to work. “To work where?” they asked me, and “Why haven’t you got a rucksack?". I explained to them that that was why I was going to pick up the car, so that I could go back home and load up my equipment, including my rucksack. They proceeded with checking my ID then let me go.
