One day in the summer of 2020, after the lockdown, I was out with a friend near the tower block. Two policemen came up and asked to see our ID. They asked for our phone numbers as well and I said to them “Why the phone number? Is that allowed?” and they answered “That’s how it is”. I didn’t ask any more, being an asylum-seeker. I gave them my ID and my phone number too
